Pink bloom

Pink color - the traditional color of  kindness, love, tenderness and passion. This color is most associated with charm, politeness and sensitivity. Pink palette -  very feminine and romantic.

We love to make toys of pink colors fabric in our workshop. Of course I prefer most of all the pure silk with shimmering effect, but I suppose the cotton is better for  nursery deco and  toddler toys. So cozy and cute!

Small and cute pouch for toddler girl

I like things made of pure silk and linen fabric very much.  Silk - elegance and richness, linen - natural and rustic.
Recently  came home from my Europe trip with full suitcase of european linen textile...I seen the other day all my linen treasures and have thought - I have some work to do.....
So my first one is a purse, made of my both favorite textiles

Handmade dusty rose ornament (a method of sewing these flower I have noted at the exhibition of Imperial dresses in Royal palace...I have my little note-book with me always ))

Love this little purse a lot!

So elegant!

Lavender sachet is great  idea to fresh linens. The sachets are placed among stored items of clothing to give a fresh fragrance and to deter moths.

Lavender flowers sealed in ordinary boring pouches...maybe it is not so nice for cozy home - it is time to make Angel`s wings Lavender sachet!

Beautiful handmade gift for your friends and family! You can decorate Angel`s wings as you wish, just dont stop your imagination!

My unique wings sewing pattern is very simple. Enjoy to create it!

It is a brooch, a pendant, sewing decor and a great handmade gift  also - depends of your imagination only.

Here is our free DIY lesson for you. Skill level - beginners and up.

Recommended textile for graft - any delicate  fabrics, our choice - pure silk chiffon.

Basic materials:

2. Two circles of felt - 5 cm diameter.
3. 4 squares of  fabric approx. 4x4 cm  for leaves.
4. Piece (a strip) of fabric  -  approx.
5 cm wide and 40 cm long  for the flower.
5. A few beads  if you wish.

 INSTRUCTION

1.  Sew on the first felt circle the brooch pin and put aside.
2.  Make the leaves  - see my diagram below how to do:

3. Sew the leaves onto the second circle. (pic.1)
4. Make a small knot of  fabric strip and sew on to the center of a circle. (pic. 2)
5. Twist the strip and sew on step by step as a spiral. (pic. 3)

6.
Cut off  any excess amount of the strip left over and  fix the end onto the back side of the circle.
