Choila - PR manager
Time to tell about Cherry Garden Dolls PR manager - Choila. She is 11 yo cute cranky elegant independent white spotless pussy cat. 11 years ago she was very skinny tiny lost kitten almost between life and death surviving on eating bugs and spiders. Finally she was lucky to find one kind man to live with. First time after 3 weeks of surviving life she has got small piece of sausage and sleep on warm lap. Soon she had skinny legs but a big fat belly and purred with happiness. She was so small you could her in the palm of your hand. She liked to sleep on a bean bag curled in a tiny ball. Choila didn't like her new cat friend though and he was jealous of her!
Now she looks like that
Perhaps - I can not hold her on my palm anymore...
Yes, she works very hard as a PR manager in our studio, I always get her smart advices )
After a few hours of hard work she has time off-

Angel`s wings, lavender sachet, free sewing pattern
Lavender sachet is great idea to fresh linens. The sachets are placed among stored items of clothing to give a fresh fragrance and to deter moths.
Lavender flowers sealed in ordinary boring pouches...maybe it is not so nice for cozy home - it is time to make Angel`s wings Lavender sachet!
Beautiful handmade gift for your friends and family! You can decorate Angel`s wings as you wish, just dont stop your imagination!
My unique wings sewing pattern is very simple. Enjoy to create it!

Skills level - beginner and up
Basic material - cotton/silk fabric, filling material, lace, trim, floral motives, buttons, beads and etc. as you wish and FUN!

Spring Garden in my studio
Although Australia is preparing for winter time now, other continents are enjoying warm spring sunshine and their first flowers
Thinking about my favorite season I have created a few new creatures - Tricksy Snails in a spring floral style
This last one "Sakura Lady" Snail is made of pure silk fabric and decorated by handmade flowers. Sakura flowers are made of silk dupioni and hand dried silk ribbon. To create my flowers me helped a very nice shop SesenArtsandCrafts on Etsy whose owner Julie Smith offers a huge selection of handmade silk materials for art and craft

Babushka doll, how I make it
I admire to make Babushka - Matryoshka rag dolls. They are colorful, pretty and very decorative. In Russian folk culture Matryoshka doll is a symbol of motherhood.
I have painted traditional wooden babushka dolls, but I like to create plush fabric ones better - but all my babushka dolls have hand-painted cute faces, so they are not identical, just look as a sisters )
Here I'll show you how I make the babushka doll:
If you want to decorate you doll - easy to do this part of work now. You can do it then the doll is finished also. I do decorating before and after sewing. Decoratw full width of the dress part
Pin the two pieces together (as if the fabric was inside out) Keep the divide between the shawl and dress) according the line on the sewing pattern and mark the outline of the pattern (I use a special craft pen, but you can use a pencil).
Leave a gap at the base of the doll for stuffing. For the babushka doll with stable bottom (that can stand upright) see more description how to make it below.
Sew Front and Back together. Dont forget the gap!
2. Instraction for the stable bottom of the doll.
To make it clear this part of work I use 2 pieces of fabrics - front is yellow and back is red
Г shape unsewed parts of product let you make the stable bottom! The gap for stuffing is in the middle of the bottom
Oh! Almost has done!
